WHAT IS QIGONG?
(CHEE-GONG)
Medical QiGong is a 5,000 year-old Chinese energy healing technique used by Dr. Smith to relieve pain.
The Chinese believe that energy flows in the body, much the same way that blood does. It’s easy to chart the route that blood travels through our veins and arteries.
Energy flow isn’t so easy to locate, but the Chinese have been able to map out its route in the body and have identified over 300 points along these paths called acupuncture points.
These points act like gates in the flow of energy. The Chinese believe that illness, injury or stress can cause blockages in one or more of these points. When that happens, energy backs up and stagnates above the blocked point and the energy flow is restricted to points below the blockages. Blockages almost always result in PAIN or ILLNESS.
WHAT DOES A QIGONG MASTER DO?
The job of a Medical QiGong Master is to locate and remove blockages responsible for causing pain, and addresses the root cause of the original problem. This promotes the body’s own natural healing process.
You will learn how to keep yourself well with “homework” assignments.
NO Needles! NO Drugs!
No disrobing; QiGong energy goes right through your clothing. No twisting, pulling or popping. This painless energy treatment requires little or no touching. It’s like Super Acupuncture, but without the needles, and is more effective.
Unlike many drugs, QiGong has
NO harmful side effects.
WHEN DOES THE PAIN GO AWAY?
Individual results will vary depending on the intensity and duration of your Primary Complaint. Most people note a significant reduction in pain levels after the first visit. Continued improvement also depends on the patient’s participation in “homework” assignments between appointments.
WHAT DOES QIGONG HELP?
Dr. Smith has successfully used QiGong to relieve the pain of Arthritis, Migraine Headaches, Fibromyalgia, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Lyme’s disease, Lower Back Pain, Muscle aches and pains, Sinus conditions, Sports Injuries, Surgical Pain, Asthma and many other medical issues.
It even boosts the immune system.
Dr. Smith will evaluate your Primary Complaint and do a short treatment on the most painful area to see if you are a candidate for this kind of therapy. Treatments are typically 45 minutes, and are scheduled in groups of 3 to 6 visits, a week apart for maximum benefit and 2 weeks apart, thereafter.
